how to set up an Instagram account for your
business if you already have a personal
Instagram account go ahead and log on to
it if you don't you could start the
process from scratch of signing in but
if you do the first step is you go to
the setting wrench right on the top
right and I'm going to press that and
I'm going to scroll down here and I'm
going to press add account this will
allow me to basically sign up for a new
Instagram account so if you don't have
an Instagram account a personal one
already you should already be on this
page and instead of using the login page
right here I'm just going to press sign
up on the bottom and I'm not going to
continue as Facebook I'm going to create
a new account here so I'm going to press
sign up with phone or email and in this
case I'm going to use my email address
to sign up I'm going to use the email
for the business that I'm using here for
the Instagram account I'm going to press
next here then it's going to add ask for
my name I'm just going to type in my
real name here and for the username I'm
going to select the username I want for
the business so in this case I'm going to choose
real alinity since the original name was
taken I'll press next here and now I'm
switched on to the new account I'm just
going to skip these steps here but you
could obviously connect to your Facebook
friends here but I'm just going to skip
these pages and obviously make sure you
add a profile page here I'll skip for
now I'm just going to press done and now
this is the new page that Instagram has
created for your business now the next
step is go to your profile icon on the
right bottom right here and click the
wrench right here on the top right and
now you want to switch to business
profile you want to select that cuz
right now it's created another personal
profile basically so what you want to do
is press switch to business profile and
then continue continue a few times and
now you'll have to log in with Facebook
in order to do that now here I'm going
to say log in with the Facebook app and
I'm going to press okay so Instagram can
can access that Facebook page and now I
want to make sure I connect my Instagram
business page to my Facebook business
page so I've already created and was
using a Facebook business page so if you
haven't done so make sure you look down
in the description here and you do make
yourself a Facebook business page so you
could follow follow through the same way
I have on the bottom here it says don't
have a Facebook page for your business
as well to make sure you create one so
the how-to video on that is on the
description below so I'm going to make
sure I select the correct company here
and now I'm set so now my Facebook
business page and my Instagram business
page are connected and now this is my
new Instagram page for my business so
now I could again go and edit my profile
and move my first name out of here if I
don't want my first name so then my
username is what stands out and I I also
could complete my profile here and add a
website and things like that you could
put more more of your bio and start
adding pictures to this page and really
start using hashtags and images and
videos to really promote this page and
again if you already had a business page
for your Facebook accounts which you
need to create this page make sure you
cross promote use your Facebook fan base
use your Facebook personal page to
promote this Instagram page and really
begin growing this page because hashtags
are a really powerful way to bring new
audience to your business.
